MARCH 2020

March started for all of us with doubt and worry at the events sweeping the world. COVID-19. A virus that has no boundaries but little did we know just how much our lives were going to be turned upside down by mid March.
None of us have experienced anything like this in our lifetimes.
On Monday 23rd March 2020 the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced a lockdown for 3 weeks for everyone in our country. Stay indoors, exercise once a day and shop only when essential for food and medicines, that's all nothing else. Only key workers, NHS, and other essential workers can continue to work, if possible, and where possible some people to work at home. Schools are closed.
It is incredibly hard for everyone adjusting to life indoors, but we have to remember .... it is to save lives. One day at a time, and, we will get through it. We have to stay safe, help each other where we sensibly and safely can. These times are for a world coming together not a time for fighting and disregard.

The last outing and photograph I took is of this cottage in Glencassley, Saturday 21st March 2020. An isolated shepherd's cottage deep in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands.
We are just going for a short walk from our house, following the rules and no driving to remote places for the time being. I do miss the hills and mountains but they will be waiting .....

Stay safe everyone... one day everything will be alright again.
